This is my ruler and notepad tattoo. I believe that tattoos can be used for functionality as well as memory. I’m a designer, so I use the ruler for buttons, zippers, and trim widths. Usually the notepad has an address or to-do list on it. :)
You know what, this is actually fucking genius.
I went to France/Franconville to StreetTattoo.
The artist Klaim created this tattoo. They really know how to handle the colours and this lovely watercolour style! Love it.
“love is a place” - e. e. cummings
The other half of the poem is on my other arm, it reads:
yes is a world
& in this world of yes live
Both tattooed by Anabela at Way Cool Tattoos in Kitchener, Ontario!
She’s the best :)
This is my first tattoo, based on the song “Human” by Darren Criss.
Done by Igor at “Igor Tattoo” in Biella, Italy.
A tribute to Harry Potter and this quote means a lot to me because I had depression two years ago and HP helped me to get over it. So the quote means that I got over it!!!
P.S. the original quote has “of times” in it and I changed it to “of the times” because it has another meaning to me.
“I hope you understand, John; I did it to save your life.”
“Like Hell you did. You couldn’t trust me. End of story.”
“For God’s sake, you know nothing of the extent of Moriarty’s power. Not even a man of your skill and intelligence….”
“My average intelligence, you mean.”
“John, you’re being absurd and needlessly stubborn about this.”
“Well, you would know about that, wouldn’t you?”
“I’m meeting Mary in Edinburgh tonight. We’re spending the week together, and at the end of it, I am asking her to marry me. You…you gave me a new life, Sherlock, and I will always owe you for that. But then you took it away. And I had to decide to make another one….or die like I thought you did. Now, listen to me. It took everything I had left, Sherlock…everything…not to let myself give up. Maybe your body isn’t in that grave. But the John Watson you knew is. I can’t bring HIM back from the dead. I’m sorry. I can’t”
This was my first tattoo. It was made by Lacey Love at Capital City Tattoo’z in Tallahassee, FL.
The word reads instant but if you focus on what is in the braces, it reads: in an instant. I got this tattoo because it signifies how all the moments in your life happen in an instant, and before you know it you are taking the next big step in your life. It was also the title of my high school yearbook which I was the Editor-in-Chief of. Yearbook was a big part of my life; it is the reason why my major has changed and it is my passion in life. If I could, I would work with yearbooks for the rest of my life. I got the tattoo on my right arm because the right side of your brain deals with your creativity. I couldn’t be happier that this will always be a part of me.

I used about 400 origami stars to make the cover to The Fault in Our Stars. I finally got a frame for it and it’s on my wall. It was a lot of work and there are a few faulty stars in there, but I really like it.
